About My Clients

Anxiety can make for restless nights, lack of interest in spending time with loved ones, and make going to work difficult. Wouldn't it be nice to release the binds of anxiety, the overthinking, and stress? Therapy can help improve your thought process, allow you to enjoy your friends and family more, and untangle the grips of trauma. I work with people who are often labeled as "sensitive" and who have emotions other people can't seem to understand. I can offer a safe space for you.

My Background and Approach

The tools and skillsets I can teach you to learn to manage your anxiety can help pave the way to a more comfortable and confident version of yourself. My goal is to educate and help you identify the strategies that will help improve your performances as a friend, family member, coworker, and fellow human being. We will work as a team to reduce the frequency and intensity of your anxiety attacks and negative thoughts about yourself. My techniques are clinically sound, supported by research, and well-practiced with over 5 years experience in the mental health field. I am more than happy to share every bit of knowledge I've obtained over the years through my education, training in various therapeutic techniques, and experience working with anxiety-suffers just like you. My goal is to help those who struggle to manage their anxiety become competent in understand they "why" and "how" in everything anxiety so that you can get the healing you deserve.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe every person deserves to heal. We may not always know what causes our anxiety, but we can control our relationship to it. As someone who lives with anxiety herself, I personally understand the struggle of overthinking, anxiety attacks, racing heart, difficulty, breathing, sweaty palms, and irritability. Through my own therapy and support of fellow therapists, I've picked up many tricks to help combat symptoms that accompany anxiety. Not only does my education and training help my clients, but my practice in yoga and meditation affords me an acceptance for who I am as a person and enjoy the journey of life. That is the gift I want to share with others. Achieving acceptance for yourself, your flaws, other people and their flaws, and elements that we cannot control can help set your mind and body free. My clinical practice is accepting of all people and I am a supporter of BLM and the LGBTQ community. If you'd like to connect, please call me today.
