About My Clients

Struggling with ADHD, binge eating, LGBTQ+ issues, or relationship problems often means feeling detached from our own desires and needs. ADHD makes focusing and completing tasks challenging. Binge eating provides temporary relief, followed by guilt. Queer individuals may face self-esteem and relationship issues. If you crave consistency and meaningful growth, therapy can be a transformative solution. Let's explore how counseling can support your journey towards well-being.

My Background and Approach

I specialize in helping clients navigate ADHD, binge eating, LGBTQ+ issues, and relationship concerns by using a mix of psychodynamic, existential, Gestalt, mindfulness, and attachment theory focused approaches. My approach results in a safe, fun, humorous, and engaging atmosphere in therapy, allowing you to reflect and make sustainable change. After all, I have been through these issues myself, allowing me to offer unique insights and empathic understanding. We'll explore your history, identify unhelpful patterns, and collaborate to make small, manageable changes towards consistent, meaningful growth. Therapy with me not just about coping, but transforming your life to align with your goals and values. Let's do the work together to build the life you deserve.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

If we're getting personal, I discovered I had ADHD in 2020, faced years of weight fluctuations from binge eating, and grappled with being LGBTQ+ while inadvertently pursuing one-sided relationships with straight men—twice. For over a decade, I struggled with countless unfinished projects and last-minute panics over assignments in college, alongside a messy relationship with my body and heart. In 2018, I shifted my approach to focus on small, manageable changes. Gradually, I started to complete projects, enjoy food, appreciate my body, and nurture healthy relationships. These changes didn’t just alter my life; they gave it meaning. I don't like clichés and I do my best to be more nuanced, but I must admit that the meaning I was looking for in my life all along was in the midst of the small changes I made. It really was the journey—not the destination. If you're ready to explore which changes can profoundly transform your life, let's connect and embark on your journey together.
