I have specialized training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Cognitive Processing Therapy such as: CBT for children and adolescence, addiction, TF-CBT for children, veterans who have been traumatized, and many other issues.

I am an approved supervisor with the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy and am constantly helping mentor theapists in learning how to do effective couple therapy. I have been trained extensively in Emotionally Focused Couple therapy and the Gottman Method. In addiction, I have conducted nationally attended workshops for couples seeking to improve their relationship and have engaged in couple therapy for the last several decades.

I am an approved Consultant with the EMDR International Association. In addition, I have engaged in extensive trainngs and offer consultation to clinicians seeking to learn how to do effective EMDR therapy. I use EMDR extensively in treating many issues and have focused especially on active duty soldiers, first responders, and police officers and their families.

I help people get their anxiety under control and eventually end their struggles with anxiety using a variety of evidence based approaches.

As a family therapist with decades of experience, I see families who have struggled with a wide variety of issues using a systemic approach which actually works. I provide supervision for other clinicians seeking to learn how to effectively work with families.

I have worked for more than a decade with active duty military, veterans, first responders and police officers. I like to think of my work as a "rescuer of rescuers."
