About My Clients
Anxiety, disconnection, or feeling stuck in old patterns can often signal deeper wounds beneath the surface. I specialize in helping individuals, couples, and families heal through trauma-informed care rooted in EMDR, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, and Internal Family Systems. Whether you're navigating a major life transition, struggling in your relationships, or trying to feel more at home in your own body, therapy can offer a path forward.
My Background and Approach
I am a licensed mental health therapist with advanced training in trauma-focused approaches including EMDR, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, and Internal Family Systems (IFS). These methods help clients not just manage symptoms, but truly process and heal from the root causes of distress. I work with individuals navigating complex trauma, anxiety, and life transitions, as well as couples and families seeking healthier communication and emotional connection. My approach is gentle, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that lasting change happens when the mind and body are both engaged in the healing process. Clients often share that they feel seen, empowered, and more connected to themselves and their relationships through our work together.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe healing happens through connection within ourselves, in our relationships, and in our communities. As a trauma-informed therapist, I value compassion, authenticity, and inclusivity, and I work to create a safe, supportive space for people of all backgrounds, including those in the LGBTQ+ community. I’m deeply passionate about keeping families connected and advocating for families to stay together whenever possible. I believe that healing generational patterns and strengthening emotional bonds can transform not only individual lives, but entire family systems. My work is guided by the belief that everyone deserves to feel seen, heard, and valued and that true healing can happen when we are able to show up just as we are.
