The best connections I have, and when I do my best work, is while working with highly sensitive people and those suffering from chronic physical and emotional pain. My clients often do not feel understood by the rest of the world. They often have tried many remedies and have seen many doctors but have been told there is nothing wrong. My Background and Approach
I am a licensed independent social worker practicing in Ohio. I hold a master's degree in social work from Ohio University. I have over 6 years of experience working with individuals and families. An eclectic approach will be used to best suit your specific needs. A blend of mindfulness, motivational interviewing, gestalt therapeutic techniques, and somatic therapeutic techniques.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Healing is essential to our well being. It is also a long winding journey, utilizing many facets, consisting of highs and lows. Sometimes the journey is draining and sometimes you'll recognize how much you have grown and be so grateful. The important thing is to not give up on yourself. Open yourself to healing yourself.
