About My Clients
I work with adults struggling with anxiety, social anxiety, and relationship challenges who are ready to make real changes. Maybe you're avoiding situations that matter-social events, dating, speaking up at work-and you're tired of feeling stuck. You want a therapist who's both supportive and action-oriented, someone who will work with you to face what is holding you back. If you're motivated to step outside your comfort zone even a little, to take that first step, we could be a great fit.
My Background and Approach
I have a background in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with a focus on exposure strategies to help you face what you have been avoiding. I also integrate Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) techniques when they will best serve your goals. My approach is flexible, using evidence-based strategies and exploring what works best with each individual client.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe everyone has the inherent capacity for growth and positive change. No matter where you are on your journey, you possess the ability to step outside your comfort zone and develop new strengths, perspectives, and ways of being. Growth happens at the edge of comfort-in that space where we feel challenged but not overwhelmed. My role is to support you as you explore that edge at your own pace, helping you to build confidence in your ability to navigate discomfort and emerge stronger on the other side. Change isn't reserved for a select few-it's accessible to anyone willing to take that first step. Together, we'll work to unlock your potential and help you become the person you're capable to being.
