About My Clients
As a Latina immigrant therapist, I work best with first- and second-generation immigrants, BIPOC individuals, teens, young adults, and women navigating anxiety, cultural identity, intergenerational trauma, and life transitions. My practice is a safe space to explore who you are, where you come from, and where you want to go. You don’t have to do it alone—healing is possible, and you deserve it.
My Background and Approach
In our work together, you won’t need to explain your culture or justify your feelings. I bring not only clinical expertise, but also the personal insight of someone who has walked a similar path. I know what it’s like to carry invisible expectations, to feel caught between two cultures, and to wonder if there’s room to simply be—without guilt, shame, or fear. Whether you’re feeling stuck, disconnected, or simply tired of holding it all together, therapy can be the first step toward something more whole. We’ll move at your pace, with compassion and care. My approach is collaborative, strengths-based, and trauma-informed. Together, we’ll build coping tools, explore your values, and help you feel more grounded in your sense of self. You deserve a space where your story is honored and your healing is supported. My practice is here for that—to walk beside you, not ahead of you, as you rediscover your voice, your boundaries, and your sense of possibility.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a BIPOC Latina immigrant therapist, my work is guided by a deep commitment to racial justice, equity, and inclusion. I believe that healing is not just an individual journey, it’s also shaped by the systems we live within. As such, I acknowledge the impact of racism, colonization, oppression, and intergenerational trauma on our mental health and sense of self. I stand firmly with marginalized communities and advocate for the dignity, safety, and empowerment of all people. I am proud to be LGBTQ+ allied, immigrant-affirming, and trauma-informed. I hold space for those who have been silenced, unseen, or invalidated by dominant culture and systems that were never built with us in mind. My practice is intentionally anti-oppressive and culturally responsive. I strive to create a space where you do not need to leave parts of your identity at the door. Whether you’re navigating the intersections of race, gender, sexuality, immigration status, or cultural background, you are welcome here.
