About My Clients
I work with people struggling with emotional distress, stress, relationship issues, and trauma, and seek balance, stability, and authentic living.
My Background and Approach
I am a licensed mental health and substance use disorder clinician. I have been working in the field of human services since 1998. I have worked with individuals with chronic mental illness, addictions, depression, anxiety, social anxiety, mood disorders, trauma, abuse, life changes, grief and loss, personality disorders, legal and criminal issues, and child protective services involvement. My clinical experience entails working with children, youth, adults, families, and couples with a client-centered, humanistic, and holistic approach to mental health, emotional health, behavioral health, and substance use disorder recovery using evidenced-based interventions and practices.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that every individual deserves respect and consideration for their respective problems and issues. There is no simple answer to the problems in life. What matters most is how we manage problems by learning coping skills, empowerment skills, and seeking life-enhancing strategies.
