About My Clients
I work with adults who feel stuck in cycles of anxiety, perfectionism, self-doubt, or burnout—often high-functioning on the outside while struggling internally. Many of my clients are emotionally exhausted from navigating issues like anxiety, depression, trauma, disordered eating, bariatric surgery recovery, body image, ADHD, and life transitions. I offer a compassionate, nonjudgmental space to help clients feel grounded, worthy, and more at ease.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 10 years of experience supporting adults from diverse backgrounds as they navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, perfectionism, and major life transitions. I bring more than two decades of experience in the healthcare field, which has shaped my holistic understanding of how emotional well-being, physical health, stress, culture, identity, and life experiences intersect. Throughout my career, I have worked with college students, young adults, middle-aged adults, and older adults across a wide range of cultural, socioeconomic, and life circumstances. Prior to private practice, I worked in medical and hospital-based settings, including specialized work with bariatric surgery clients, providing psychological assessments and ongoing pre- and post-surgical support. My therapeutic approach is collaborative, affirming, and grounded in evidence-based care. I integrate CBT, mindfulness, DBT modalities, trauma-informed care, and IFS.
