About My Clients
I often work with thoughtful, self-aware adults who carry a lot and feel exhausted holding everything together. Many are navigating anxiety, trauma, burnout, ADHD, grief, or life transitions. Some are working through attachment wounds or relational stress. I value clients who are open to reflection and growth. Our work together is collaborative, practical, and focused on meaningful, sustainable change.
My Background and Approach
My approach is trauma-informed, grounded, and collaborative. I integrate EMDR with skills-based and insight-oriented work, depending on what each client needs. Together, we explore patterns, build practical tools, and create sustainable change that extends beyond the therapy room. I believe healing happens when we can safely examine difficult experiences while also strengthening regulation, boundaries, and self-trust. Sessions are interactive and structured, but there is always space for curiosity and nuance. Therapy can be deep and challenging, but it doesn’t have to feel heavy all the time. When appropriate, I welcome moments of lightness and humor; growth often includes laughter alongside insight. With a background in healthcare and higher education, I bring a steady, practical presence to our work. My goal is to create a respectful, nonjudgmental space where meaningful change feels possible.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe people are not broken; many of the patterns you struggle with once helped you survive. Therapy is not about “fixing” you, but about increasing awareness, building regulation, and creating more choice in how you respond to your life. I value honesty, accountability, and compassion. Growth requires courage, but it also requires safety. My role is to offer both a steady presence where difficult experiences can be explored without judgment. I believe healing can be serious work, but it doesn’t have to be rigid. There is room for reflection, insight, skill-building, and at times, appropriate humor. Therapy should feel human, collaborative, and empowering.
