About My Clients
True healing happens during personal exploration when we feel seen and heard, and when we believe change is possible. I practice client-centered therapy, and by creating a strong therapeutic alliance, I guide my clients through their journey by meeting each individual's needs/wants using verbal and non-verbal alternatives to traditional talk therapy. If you are ready to take this journey together, please enter your contact info at the bottom of the page to schedule a free video consultation.
My Background and Approach
I am a clinically trained EMDR therapist, board-certified and registered art therapist, and licensed professional counselor in York, PA with a strong desire to help people just like yourself. Using various methods of trauma processing, mindfulness techniques, creative expression, and non-verbal/bottom-up modalities, I help my clients identify their strengths, reduce PTSD symptoms, gain insight, increase self-worth, and improve their overall quality of life. My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am a firm believer that you know yourself better than anyone else and you have the answers inside of you, you just need some guidance and support to unlock those answers. I want to meet you where you are to help you be the best possible version of yourself. I truly care about my clients and welcome and support everyone, regardless of race, ethnicity, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, immigration status, religion, or disability. I have a BFA from Kutztown University in Pennsylvania and received my MA in Art Therapy from Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College in Indiana. I completed my pre-licensing internship at Alexander T. Augusta Military Medical Center in Virginia, formerly Fort Belvoir Community Hospital, and have experience working with military members and their families. I love to work with adolescents and accept clients from 12 years of age and up. I love to hike, kayak, and spend time with my dogs.
