About My Clients
I enjoy providing individual and family therapy to children and adolescents as well as adults who are experiencing anxiety, depression, difficulty adjusting to life transitions and events, behavioral concerns, family conflict, trauma, and other issues.
My Background and Approach
I am a clinical social worker with several years of experience in the mental health field. I help people figure out what they need and where to begin to overcome the issues they face. Through various traditional and creative approaches to treatment, I collaborate with children, adolescents, adults, and their families to maximize their strengths and build skills to resolve and move beyond challenges.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe everyone is capable of making positive changes and overcoming obstacles. We all experience obstacles in our lives that can cause us to become stuck, and sometimes we need help to get through these challenges. But so many of the messages that we receive about ourselves from the people we know, society, and even ourselves keep us from seeking the support we need. I believe that taking that first step toward making changes and overcoming obstacles is reaching out for the help you need. Because I know how hard it is to take that first step and then share your thoughts and feelings with a stranger, I strive to provide a supportive, judgment-free environment where children and adults can be open and feel heard.
