About My Clients
I work with adults navigating stress, anxiety, depression, grief, and the lasting impact of past experiences or trauma. Together, we explore what’s holding you back and develop coping strategies to help you feel grounded, regain emotional balance, and build resilience. My goal is to create a space where you feel understood, empowered, and supported as you work toward meaningful, lasting change.
My Background and Approach
I am a licensed clinical social worker, with a Master of Social Work from Johnson C. Smith University, trained in trauma-informed care, attachment theory, and nervous system regulation. I have extensive experience supporting adults navigating childhood trauma, grief, anxiety, depression, life transitions, and relationship challenges. I integrate Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with Polyvagal-informed approaches to help clients identify unhelpful patterns, manage stress, and build emotional resilience. My focus is on creating a safe, respectful, and client-centered environment where you feel seen and understood. Through our work together, you’ll gain practical tools and insights to process past experiences, strengthen coping skills, and move toward meaningful, lasting change in your life. My goal is to help you feel empowered, regulated, and confident in your ability to navigate life’s challenges.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe in the inherent dignity, worth, and resilience of every person. I am committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and non-judgmental space where clients feel respected and heard, regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, or background. Social justice, equity, and anti-racism are core to my values, and I advocate for fairness and compassion both in my work and community. I support trauma-informed care, mental health awareness, and empowering individuals to reclaim their voice and well-being. Volunteering, community engagement, and continuous learning are also central to how I live my values and bring empathy and understanding into therapy.
