You are a millennial who could check “all the boxes” for a fabulous life but you aren't happy. You've had great career and educational successes, but your motivation to keep succeeding has declined. You worry about living up to others expectations within your life and career and you feel less confident. Comparing yourself to others also makes you feel insecure. We can work together to move past this point of burnout and discover a positive path towards the life that you want.
My Background and Approach
Throughout my 7 years of experience, I have learned that clients ultimately want to see tangible results in therapy. My clients like my practical approach that results in learning effective techniques to improve personal insight, shifting thought patterns, regulating emotions, and improving communication skills in order to improve confidence, relationships, decision-making, self- care and more. Each highly engaging and interactive virtual session will be focused on topics that are meaningful to you. Your time in therapy will be broken up into 3 phases; Learn, Shift and Grow. During the Learn phase, we will explore your thought patterns. During the Shift phase, you will learn strategies for shifting unhelpful thoughts. Finally, during the Grow phase, you will have the chance to practice all that you have learned and transition from therapy with a wealth of knowledge and new skills to apply to your life as you move forward with more joy and purpose!
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
During my previous career as a Tax Accountant, I personally came to understand the dynamics of corporate and educational environments that can give rise to these challenges. For many of us, our habits, communication patterns, parenting practices, and the ways in which we think and feel about ourselves are a result of what we have learned from others. It's okay to give yourself permission to unlearn practices that do not serve you well and adopt new ones that align better with who you are. I believe that everyone is an expert in their own life and has the capacity for growth and change but may need support, at times, to make desired changes.
