As a therapist my goal is directed towards helping individuals create a different narrative of their life story to embrace a life filled with love of self and others. Recreating and correcting unhealthy thoughts of your life narrative can reduce symptoms of stress from the traumatic event and life stressors.
My Background and Approach
Using cognitive behavioral therapy and narrative approach can help Identify thinking mistakes and distorted thoughts. My approach will assist with identifying helpful thoughts that can improve symptoms from faulty thinking. Creating a new narrative and processing plays an important part in helping individuals overcome traumatic events, negative thinking and over time decrease their negative reactions to stressful events from the past and cope with daily life stressors that can create unhealthy coping behaviors.
