About My Clients
My clients are brilliant and resilient but are often feeling stuck and are often in need of a safe space to explore what is going on, have support and learn new tools to to make forward movement. I enjoy helping my clients create a life that they enjoy.
My Background and Approach
I am an art therapist and a LPCC (incensed professional clinical counselor) and have been providing therapy for close to 20 years! Clients often refer to me as kind, creative and insightful. I am trained in EMDR, a very effective, short term treatment for trauma or negative beliefs. In session, I enjoy helping my clients learn how to navigate uncertainty & painful emotions and how to deal with sticky, nagging thoughts. Many of my clients are also addressing big questions. I enjoy helping my clients increase their ability to focus on what matters to them and increase their self compassion. For my clients with ADHD, I also help with executive functioning skills. Currently, I'm providing telehealth (video or phone) sessions & plan to be opening my office back up for in person sessions in late Spring 2021. I work with individuals, ages 10 & up.
