I specialize in accompanying clients on their journeys through C-PTSD and PTSD. I am a firm believer that humans innately have what we need to heal, that re-wiring our nervous systems and minds through neuroplasticity is possible and powerful, and that we heal most wholly in communities. I am Certified in EMDR through EMDRIA and integrate trauma-informed, somatic practices into my work with clients.

I work with Teens and Tweens ages 10-18 who are struggling with identity formation, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, and trauma.

My practice is neuro-affirming, and I work with folks to address the internalized shame from living years of feeling misunderstood, unseen, and undervalued. My hope is that my clients find a safe place in our work to unmask and get to know themselves in an authentic and felt way.

My approach to EMDR is a bit different than what is typically viewed as mainstream, and I like to be upfront about that from the get-go to make sure folks feel like I'm a good fit for their needs. I am a relational EMDR therapist, which means that I prioritize more than symptom relief and behavior modification. Relational EMDR is especially helpful for people who have experienced complex trauma, such as difficulties in early relationships or attachment.
