About My Clients
The clients I work with are often strong, capable, and deeply committed to others—but internally, they may feel overwhelmed, anxious, emotionally drained, or stuck. Many are navigating unresolved trauma, high levels of stress, burnout, or major life transitions that leave them questioning their direction and sense of self. I work with individuals who are ready for change, even if they don’t yet have all the answers.
My Background and Approach
I earned my master’s degree in counseling from a CACREP-aligned program, which provided me with a strong academic and clinical foundation in evidence-based practices, ethical standards, and culturally responsive care. I am also a National Certified Counselor (NCC), with my certification active through June 30, 2027. Throughout my career, I have remained committed to ongoing professional development, particularly in the area of trauma-informed care, recognizing the lasting impact that life experiences can have on emotional well-being, relationships, and overall functioning. My professional experience includes working in both inpatient and outpatient mental health settings, where I have supported individuals facing anxiety, trauma, depression, stress-related conditions, and significant life transitions. I have worked closely with clients in moments of crisis, as well as those seeking long-term growth and emotional support.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that every person carries a story that deserves to be heard, honored, and understood without judgment. At the core of my work is the belief that people are not broken—they are responding to life experiences in the best way they know how. With the right support, guidance, and space to reflect, healing becomes possible. I believe in meeting people where they are. Not where they “should” be, not where others expect them to be, but exactly where they are in this moment. Growth does not happen through pressure or shame; it happens through compassion, consistency, and honest self-exploration. I believe that healing and growth can exist at the same time. You do not have to wait until everything is “fixed” to begin moving forward. In fact, some of the most meaningful change happens when individuals learn how to navigate life while still healing.
