My Background and Approach
I earned my MA in Counseling Psychology from Pacific University (2011), where I contributed to anxiety research and effective treatment practices. For 15+ years, I’ve supported clients in outpatient clinics, schools, sports settings, chemical health programs, and correctional facilities. I work with professionals, athletes, adults, and couples navigating burnout, chronic stress, anxiety (including OCD), mood disorders (including bipolar), hoarding, and life transitions. I especially enjoy working with high achievers. As an entrepreneur, coach, business owner, and elite athlete, I often draw on my own experiences to relate and guide clients. I see life as a lifelong journey of growth and learning, and I love helping clients find joy, clarity, and sustainable change as they strive to be their best selves.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My therapy motto, “Bringing hope and change through client-centered treatment that focuses on the potential for healthier individuals and family systems”, really describes my approach. Through counseling services, I hope you can learn how to see the highest value of yourself, your time, and your health. I hope that you will be able to identify your potential and create direction to allow you to feel confidence, hope, and understand the tools for lasting change. I provide tailored and effective evidence-based mental health and substance use treatment options.
