About My Clients
Clients who come to me work really hard to make sure everything looks okay on the outside when it doesn’t feel that way on the inside. They are often overwhelmed with pressure to get things perfect and struggle with feeling “enough”, some experiencing with imposter syndrome. They often feel an imbalance in their lives and are quick to sacrifice self-care for others or in the face of stress. They feel their emotions strongly and sometimes feel controlled by them, leaving them often drained.
My Background and Approach
I’m here to help you feel more balanced in your mind, body, soul, and relationships! We’ll work together to build insight on what’s keeping you stuck and set goals for what’s needed to find and maintain this balance. I’ll show you tools and strategies including mindfulness, self-compassion, distress tolerance, & emotion regulation to navigate overwhelming moments. I'll help you create sustainable changes that will put you back in the driver's seat of your life!
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that therapy is such a beneficial service that gives individuals the opportunity to feel a genuine, authentic connection with another human. An opportunity to be heard and validated in their experiences, which is a necessary part of healing. No individual’s journey is exactly the same as someone else’s. We may go through similar experiences, but we all take different paths to get there. In my work, I support you in recognizing experiences that contributed to where you are now, and help you explore where your path goes next. You’ve already taken the first step in reaching out for support just by exploring providers! It takes strength to start this journey and I’m here to support you in your next step and empower you along the way. Together, we can work towards helping you feel more satisfied with your overall life.
