About My Clients

Many of the people I work with are doing their best to keep everything together on the outside while feeling overwhelmed on the inside. They are caring, capable individuals who often put others' needs before their own and have reached a point where the stress, anxiety, or emotional exhaustion has become difficult to carry alone. My clients may be navigating anxiety, burnout, life transitions, trauma, low self-esteem, relationship challenges, or the lasting impact of difficult experiences.

My Background and Approach

Before becoming a therapist, I spent several years as an elementary and special education teacher, where I developed a deep appreciation for the connection between emotional well-being, relationships, and learning. That experience naturally led me into the mental health field, where I've worked across community mental health, behavioral health, and higher-acuity settings with children, adolescents, adults, and families. My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and relationship-centered. I believe that meaningful change begins with feeling safe, understood, and accepted. Together, we'll explore the patterns and experiences that have shaped you while developing practical strategies that support healing, resilience, and lasting growth.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe every person has inherent worth and the capacity for growth. While we can't always change what has happened to us, we can better understand our experiences, develop new ways of coping, and create meaningful change. Therapy isn't about becoming someone different—it's about reconnecting with who you are and expanding your potential.
