I work with clients on symptoms of trauma, anxiety, and depression and clients experiencing grief and loss and stress and overwhelm.
I utilize talk therapy, somatic experiencing, and play therapy to decrease difficult symptoms and increase joy, connection, and contentment.
I am trained in Somatic Experiencing at the Advanced Level. Somatic Experiencing focuses on decreasing symptoms of trauma in the body including depression, anxiety, flashbacks, etc.
I enjoy working with adolescents in part because of their flexibility and creativity in talk therapy, play therapy, somatic experiencing, art, etc.
I am trained in Experiential play therapy and Filial play therapy (parent/child) and enjoy working with children and their parents to decrease difficult behaviors like physical and verbal aggression and meltdowns.
