About My Clients

Even on a good day, when everything is going well, you still have those feelings: not understanding why you keep doing the things that you do, not recognizing the person you have become. On the outside you seem like you have your life put together, but on the inside, you are overwhelmed with unhappiness...and the feelings have become too strong to ignore. You're tired of feeling "stuck" in your life or that you’re “broken” or unworthy of love. You don’t have to continue to suffer.

My Background and Approach

I can help you process the past, and create an exciting new future. Together, we can create a safe place. A place for you to be yourself, to explore your vulnerabilities, to expand your strengths, and discover your full potential. I utilize EMDR, which helps your brain process information that was previously "stuck" and causing you distress. I offer therapy exclusively online through secure online video connection. I can meet with you anywhere you have internet connection. You are the master of your life, and I am simply a partner here to help you. If you're ready to start the journey, please contact me for a free 20 minute consultation.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

Before becoming a therapist I taught college Communication Studies classes. I have always enjoyed learning about people and how they think and communicate with each other, and helping others to improve their lives and relationships. I became a therapist, so that I could work individually with people and help them more deeply. I have had my own experiences in therapy, and trying to find what works. I believe finding the right therapist, at the right time, is important. I specialize in trauma, which I believe includes all kinds of experiences that were traumatic to you. Whether it is rape or abuse, or a relationship with a parent that was difficult or hurtful, or many other examples. Many people have had traumatic experiences, and often they don’t think about their experiences as traumatic. A traumatic experience may be continuing to affect your life and relationships, even though it happened a long time ago.
