About My Clients
Communication problems, fighting, unfaithfulness, lying, pornography, distrust, loneliness, not seeing eye to eye...? Whether you want to work on your relationship with your partner or individual therapy I will provide a safe space for you and give you the tools to having a fulfilling relationship. My clients are relieved to finally get the help they’ve been looking for and start seeing results rapidly.
My Background and Approach
I have been providing therapy since 1999. I am goal focused with the intention you will get something out of each session as I provide insight, tips and tools while also going deep and working on the past when desired. While therapy can be hard my clients appreciate the movement they are finally able to make and the relief to not stay in pain. I am empathetic, nonjudgmental, and caring. Clients have told me they would not have wished their pain on anyone but if they hadn't been through it they wouldn't have made it to therapy and wouldn't be at the wonderful place they are at the end of therapy. I also provide walk and talk therapy for those who find it hard to fit in therapy and exercise. This way you can fit in both!
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe we can all improve. Often times we need to learn new skills or be given the environment where healing and awareness can be cultivated. I understand that therapy is a commitment financially and time-wise. I believe in meeting people where they are at and being creative, which is why even before the pandemic I offered walk and talk therapy, teletherapy and in-home therapy where we could visit someone who was not able to go to the office due to physical reasons, childcare, or where it made more sense to be out of the office such as meeting a teen at the home to shoot hoops so that they don’t feel like they are sitting in a sterile doctor’s office. I am a Christian, however most of my clients are not.
