About My Clients
Your teen has become withdrawn as they try to juggle academic expectations, identity exploration, social pressure, and more. They’re telling you that they’re ‘fine’ to avoid worrying you. But they may be struggling with anxiety, depression, or low self-esteem and not know how to say it. As a therapist who works closely with teens, my goal is to support your teen through this overwhelming time by creating a safe space where they feel heard, seen, and able to actually open up.
My Background and Approach
Together we’ll build the tools they need to feel more confident, more grounded, and more like themselves again. I work with children, teens, and adults through anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship challenges, and more. My approach is person-centered and collaborative, drawing from CBT, family systems, and psychodynamic therapy. I tailor each session to meet your individual needs. I received my Master of Social Work from Rutgers University.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Taking the step to reach out is hard, especially when it’s for your child. You don’t have to figure this out alone. I offer sessions in English or Spanish, in person at our Hoboken office and by telehealth for NJ residents. Anchor Therapy is out-of-network, and we give superbills so you can file for reimbursement with your insurance company. I also offer a free 15-minute phone consultation.
