About My Clients

I welcome children, teen girls, adults, and couples facing heavy life transitions, grief, trauma, or infertility. My practice is ideal for young kids who process emotions best through creative play, art, and sandtray therapy, as well as teen girls navigating growing pains. I also specialize in high-stress executives, professionals, and athletes struggling with burnout and performance pressures. If you’re seeking a warm, tailored space to build resilience, you'll feel right at home here.

My Background and Approach

As a Licensed Professional Counselor in Michigan with a Master’s in Counseling Psychology from Spring Arbor University, I bring over 12 years of clinical therapy experience and 20+ years in executive leadership and HR. This blend means you receive expert care that bridges deep emotional healing with practical tools for high-pressure careers, burnout, and complex life demands. I specialize in supporting kids, teen girls, adults, and couples through trauma, grief, infertility, and major transitions. For young children, my advanced training in play, sandtray, and art therapy gives them a safe outlet to process big feelings when words aren't enough. For high-performers, my background in sports psychology and leadership provides actionable strategies to build resilience. Using tailored, evidence-based methods like CBT, ACT, and trauma-informed care, I partner with you to uncover strengths and break tough patterns so you and your family can feel truly heard and empowered.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe therapy works best as a collaborative, human partnership rooted in authenticity, open communication, and deep empathy. I value creating a space where every story is honored, whether you are a young child navigating big emotions or a seasoned executive managing immense pressure. I believe in your innate resilience and respect the courage it takes to ask for support during heavy seasons of loss, transition, or trauma. Outside the therapy room, my commitment to endurance and mental toughness carries into my personal life as an avid runner and Ironman finisher. This passion fuels my belief in holistic well-being, nourishing the mind, body, and spirit to overcome life's steepest obstacles. Whether on the trail or in session, I stand for showing up fully, holding space without judgment, and walking alongside you as you discover your own strength, find your grounding, and create lasting, meaningful change.
