About My Clients
I specialize in providing support to motivated teens and young adults who have undergone significant life changes and are struggling with managing their overwhelming emotions. Together, we address emotional management to effectively resolve conflicts within the home environment, guiding individuals toward self-confidence and their journey towards self-improvement and happiness.
My Background and Approach
Raising teens and young adults is a rollercoaster of emotions for kids & parents. I am also a mom, & I've walked the path of parenthood with its ups & downs, its joys & its challenges. It's a journey filled with love & a desire to provide the best for our children. I want you to know that you are not alone in this journey. You know your child but may be questioning if their behavior is typical or signs of suffering mental health. Don’t doubt yourself; trust your intuition. You want to help them be happy & healthy & so do I. I've worked with teens for over 20 years as a school counselor & have learned about them, from them. I have qualities that enable me to work effectively with teens/YA's. Through active listening, empathy, & patience, I create a safe, non-judgmental environment where they process their emotions & learn coping skills.

I believe everyone has value, a purpose and deserves to be heard. I want to help you understand your emotions and work through problems so you can feel happier and more confident. Growing up is hard and navigating the social pressures of today is confusing. Social media impacts you in ways you may not even know but you won't feel this way forever; there is hope. I want to help you through your personal, social and/or home conflicts so you can feel like yourself again. Growth is hard, but nothing is as hard as staying somewhere you don't belong.
