About My Clients
Many people I support are tired of pretending that everything is okay when it really isn’t. Maybe you look like the good friend, spouse, parent, coworker - but inside you feel so alone. Maybe you are struggling to find the depth of connection you long for, experience the same problems in every relationship, or are so afraid of being hurt that you hide your true self. Maybe you have all the intention in the world to change, but just cannot seem to make it happen.
My Background and Approach
I specialize in supporting people with relationship issues. I work with adults who may or may not have had the care they needed as children and are ready to heal old wounds, feel more connection and create satisfying, supportive, meaningful relationships. I also support parents who are struggling to be the parents they wish to be. And, I support parents and their adult children to resolve conflicts to experience more connection, peace and relief from the pain of difficult family dynamics. I also specialize in working with ADHD, primarily supporting adults and late diagnosis ADHD, as well as parents who are wanting to support their neurodivergent children.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
We are all experiencing the impact of global polarization and many are finding connection has become increasingly challenging. In addition to being a therapist, I am also studying the impacts of peace and conflict on our connection to each other from global and local communities, to our most intimate relationships as a Buddhist Peace and Conflict Chaplain. This training informs the work I do with conflictual family relationships, and keeps me connected to a deep sense of hope and care.
