My main goal is to create an environment in which you feel safe and comfortable in order to discuss your feelings. I am empathetic, compassionate, outgoing and try to use humor whenever necessary because I believe it helps build a therapeutic relationship. Together, using solution focused and person centered therapy, we will identify and develop healthy coping skills in order to manage and eventually eliminate your symptoms. Also, utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, I will help you learn to identify and replace negative and distorted thoughts. I am not here to judge you but rather provide support and validation. I am in the process of becoming certified as a trauma certified professional and am looking forward to using my knowledge and experience to help individuals repair old or new traumatic scars.
