My Background and Approach
With over 20 years as a licensed therapist in Indiana and California, and as an ordained minister, I bring both clinical wisdom and compassionate presence. I am a Certified Gottman 7 Principles for Making Marriage Work Educator and a Prepare/Enrich Facilitator/Trainer, offering couples and premarital clients thoughtful, research-based assessments that bring clarity, direction, and hope. As an AAMFT Clinical Fellow and Approved Supervisor, and a Board-Certified Professional and Pastoral Counselor, my work is grounded, wholistic, and deeply relational. I cannot do the work for you—but I would be honored to walk beside you as you invest in healing, renewed connection, and a future shaped with intention.

That’s why I work as a Systems Therapist—helping you understand patterns so change is meaningful and lasting, not temporary. Therapy can be hard work, and the space itself matters. My goal is for you to feel at ease—never rushed, judged, or overwhelmed. Many clients describe our work as a much-needed pause from life’s pressures: a warm, welcoming space where you set the pace and feel safe enough to be fully yourself. I believe quality mental health care should be accessible, not just aspirational. Alongside my private practice, I run a low-fee, nonprofit therapy center serving the Burbank community, created to reduce barriers and offer thoughtful, high-quality care to those who might otherwise go without.
