I have extensive training in mindfulness meditation going back 20 years when I worked one-on-one with the Spiritual Advisor to the Six Nations near Buffalo, NY, where I grew up. These practices can help understand intergenerational trauma, find clarity in confusion and reintegrate lost parts of ourselves after trauma.

For 15+ years I have studied and personally practiced Five Elements Qigong and more recently I was trained in the Taoist Water Qigong practice to help dissolve tension, cool the brain and cultivate vitality. I strongly support body based practices as means for addressing emotional imbalances and the stories attached.

I believe my unique experience with mindfulness meditation, qigong and art therapy all come together in somatic attachment focused EMDR and will absolutely deepen your transformation.

Depression is a collapse of energy designed to protect us when our internal landscape has become toxic. It calls on us to acknowledge the restriction of energy and restore flow.

Trauma separates us from our known world. A sense of powerlessness and disconnection will disturb our ability to reintegrate back into society after trauma. It is essential we acknowledge, feel and mobilize the release of painful emotions, rather than try to erase, avoid or distract from them.
