It's pretty impossible to go through life without experiencing hard times. These can be through loss - of a loved one, a relationship, or a dream; or through change - in job, in location, in roles, or in health (either your health or that of a loved one). Hard times can make you feel like you've lost yourself. You don't have to stay lost, though. Working together, we can help you find your joy, hope, strength, and resilience.
My Background and Approach
I have been a licensed clinical Social Worker since 2002. In my experience, the most important treatment tool is the relationship between therapist and participant. Building upon a deep understanding of your interests, skills, strengths, and background, our work together will incorporate many approaches or methods. However, I have found that cognitive behavioral therapy techniques are very successful for a wide variety of people and I refer to these tools quite often.
