My Background and Approach
I am a licensed therapist who brings both professional training and lived experience into my work, so clients feel supported, understood, and genuinely met where they are. My clinical background includes trauma-informed, attachment-based, and emotion-focused approaches that help you build safety in your body, clarity in your mind, and healthier connections in your relationships. My own therapeutic journey has deeply shaped how I show up as a clinician. I have done meaningful personal work around healing past wounds, understanding my nervous system, and learning how to stay connected rather than shut down or over-function. Because of this, I sit with you as a real person who understands struggle, growth, and transformation — not just as an expert with a degree. This allows me to be warm, grounded, and emotionally attuned to your experience.

I believe that healing happens best in spaces that are safe, inclusive, and rooted in compassion. I value kindness, curiosity, and connection — to ourselves, to one another, and to the world around us. My practice is guided by the belief that everyone is welcome, and I am committed to creating a space where people of all identities, backgrounds, and lived experiences feel respected, seen, and valued. I care about social justice, equity, and standing alongside marginalized communities, and I strive to bring that awareness into my work as a therapist. I am particularly passionate about mental health access, reducing stigma, and supporting young people as they find their voice in an often overwhelming world.
