About My Clients
Hello, kamusta ka? Are you feeling exhausted from constantly having to perform, carrying so much, and holding it all together? You’ve spent much of your life trying to fit in, adjust, and achieve in order to feel seen & understood, yet you still feel missed. Somewhere along the way, you began losing parts of yourself just to survive the spaces you were in. I hold space for grief in its many forms—grief around identity, relationships, faith, missed opportunities, and unrealized possibilities.
My Background and Approach
My style is warm, caring, culturally sensitive & friendly. I value getting to know you deeply - your pain, strengths and the human details that make you, you. These matter! I bring them into our work in ways that make therapy feel connected to your life. I’m committed to helping you find relief, clarity, and connection as you make space for healing & growth. I work with teens, adults, and couples navigating anxiety, identity, life transitions, & disconnection. I also focus on athletes facing pressure, injury, or grief around unmet expectations. I especially welcome intercultural couples, first and second-generation immigrants, and individuals with mixed backgrounds, feeling caught in between worlds and cultures. I hold a BA in Psychology and an MS in MFT, with an emphasis in Medical Family Therapy. I have served as affiliate faculty at Fuller and worked in HR at a nonprofit supporting efforts to rescue children from online sexual exploitation. I'm also a former competitive athlete.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe healing happens when people feel seen, understood, and empowered to live with greater authenticity. My work is especially rooted in supporting Filipino/Filipino American and Asian/Asian American individuals, including first-, second-, and third-culture experiences, as they navigate identity, family expectations, belonging, and life transitions. I am passionate about working with intercultural and mixed-background couples seeking deeper understanding and connection across differences. I also care deeply for athletes whose dreams have changed or ended, helping them process grief, identity loss, and new beginnings. Having worked for a nonprofit dedicated to protecting children from online sexual exploitation, I value advocacy, safety, and human dignity. I enjoy supporting individuals navigating religious trauma, as well as those who desire to love, serve, and engage their faith communities in healthier and more meaningful ways.
