About My Clients
I work with couples and individuals 18+ who feel stuck or are navigating life transitions, anxiety, and low self-esteem. I specialize in helping partners strengthen communication and rebuild connection. I am trained to see each client within their broader system, prioritizing immediate needs and symptom management while looking beyond the surface to understand the complex relational patterns in their lives.
My Background and Approach
My approach is warm, direct, and real. I will join you with curiosity, use humor when it fits, and challenge thoughts, patterns, and ways of coping that might be keeping you stuck. I focus on helping you recognize your inherent worth and build skills based on evidence-based practices. Together, we slow things down so you can understand the patterns beneath your symptoms and respond with intention, not reactivity. This is how we can create meaningful change that brings greater stability to your life and relationships. Change that can endure.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe people make sense in context. We are shaped by our relationships, experiences, environments, and the ways we have learned to adapt over time. Even the patterns we want to change often developed for understandable reasons and served an important purpose at some point. I tend to be curious about what sits underneath a reaction or behavior rather than focusing only on how it appears on the surface. For me, understanding the full story creates more room for compassion, accountability, and meaningful change. I believe people are wired for connection, and that our relationships have a powerful influence on how we see ourselves and move through the world. I value honesty, depth, and conversations that make room for the complicated parts of life. Therapy can offer space to slow down, understand what has been shaping you, and become more intentional about what you want moving forward.
