About My Clients
Hello! My passion is working with caregivers, teachers, children, and adolescents who are struggling with anxiety and depression and are needing support to increase coping skills and self-esteem. With my special education background, I have extensive experience working alongside children and adolescents while creating individualized goals along a spectrum of need. My goal is to help caregivers, teachers, children, and adolescents gain coping skills, confidence, self-awareness, and hope.
My Background and Approach
I am a mother of two children, and a former special education teacher who learned early to adapt to meet the individual needs of each of my students. Now as a therapist, I incorporate those same fundamentals.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My professional and personal experiences working with children who have been diagnosed with different abilities have given me valuable therapeutic skills, as well as the knowledge and experience to create a safe and compassionate space for listening.
