About My Clients
Are you experiencing incessant worry and difficulty managing your emotions? Feeling stuck/ burned out? Are you searching for ways to cope? In our work together, you will gain tools to recognize and manage triggers, combat negative self-talk, strengthen emotional regulation, and set healthy boundaries. I use evidence-based treatments drawn from CBT and DBT to reduce symptoms & gain valuable coping skills. Therapy is a collaborative process that I hope makes you feel safe, supported, & empowered.
My Background and Approach
In our work together, you'll learn tools you can use in real life, like how to challenge spiraling thoughts, calm your body when you feel overwhelmed, communicate your needs without guilt, and respond to stress instead of reacting to it. Together, we'll explore what your mind and body have been trying to tell you, and we'll create space for a life that feels more aligned, spacious, and authentically yours. Therapy is a collaborative process that I hope makes you feel safe, supported, & empowered. I understand that starting therapy can feel daunting, so my goal is to provide a relaxed, comfortable, and compassionate space where you can feel at ease.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Therapy works best when there is alignment in values and when a strong sense of trust and rapport can develop in the therapeutic relationship. I tend to work well with women who are thoughtful and self-reflective. Typically, high achievers, people pleasers, and those living with anxiety or OCD who often feel mentally exhausted from always holding it together. I approach therapy relationally and collaboratively, with an emphasis on honesty, curiosity, and respect for your autonomy. As a secular therapist, I often support clients in unpacking the impact of harmful or rigid belief systems and reconnecting with their own values and inner compass. If you value a grounded, affirming, evidence-based space that prioritizes trust over advice-giving, we may be a good fit. Outside of the therapy room, I recharge through nature walks and gardening, listening to music, or curling up with a good mystery novel.
