About My Clients
Gen-Z & Millennials, I understand the unique challenges you face being completely overcome by unruly and intense emotions. You're doing your best and still find yourself getting hijacked by your emotions, unable to express yourself and be how you want. You're tired of the self-doubt, circular arguments, panic, anger, and sadness that are holding you back. You're ready to know yourself in new, embodied and loving ways in order to feel in harmony with yourself and your life.
My Background and Approach
We'll work together to identify and practice tools to manage stress and difficult emotions that happen in life. We’ll also focus on understanding what values are important to you and figure out if there are any values you're following that aren't truly yours. You decide what’s important to you and what you want to let go so that you can move forward and into create the life you want. Many of the problems we face are connected to how we form relationships with others, which can be influenced by past experiences that hurt us. Part of our work will involve recognizing the important people in your life and how they have influenced you. I use Somatic Experiencing (SE) and Internal Family Systems (IFS)to help you build a deeper relationship with yourself and heal from past hurts that might be keeping you stuck. I also use EMDR to help reprocess traumatic or distressing experiences that are keeping you from growing and feeling well.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Many of the values and tools we've learned from experience, family, and society actively go against our physiological and spiritual wellbeing. My goal is to help people understand and accept their true selves and heal from the hurt that has been passed down through generations, society, and each other.
