My Background and Approach
I am a licensed marriage and family therapist, specializing in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), Brainspotting and Psychedelic Integration Therapy, helping clients identify and heal the roots of their distress. These brain-based modalities tap into the bodies innate ability to heal and are highly effective in treating and relieving many issues such as, anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, relationship issues, Performance Enhancement for Creative and Sports Professionals and Enthusiasts and Trauma
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Brainspotting and Attachment-Focused EMDR are the foundation of my practice. Clients are able to unlock stuck memories that are preventing them from living the life they want to live and becoming the person they want to be. In addition, I also hold a certification in positive psychology. I firmly believe that it is not enough to simply remove the negative symptom or presenting problem. In order to live an optimal and self-fulfilled life, strengths need to be discovered and promoted, so the seeds of happiness and wellbeing can grow and thrive.
