I work best with adults who feel stuck, disconnected, or overwhelmed. Many of my clients are navigating trauma, substance use, identity questions, relational struggles, burnout, or major life transitions. You may be seeking more than short-term coping strategies and instead want space to understand yourself more deeply and make sense of how your past, relationships, and social context shape your present.
My Background and Approach
I am a trauma-informed therapist with experience in addiction treatment and private practice settings. My work is strongly influenced by trauma theory, psychodynamic thinking, and systems-based perspectives. I focus on understanding how early experiences, relational patterns, and broader social contexts shape present-day struggles. Clients often benefit from this approach through increased insight, emotional awareness, and a stronger sense of agency over their lives.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe people are shaped by their relationships, developmental experiences, and the systems they live within. I value harm reduction, social justice, and mental health care that honors complexity rather than pathologizing our survival strategies. I see therapy as a collaborative process grounded in curiosity, respect, and an understanding that healing happens in relationship and context.
