About My Clients

I work with adults, teens, and families navigating anxiety, identity, life transitions, or stuck emotional patterns. My clients are often thoughtful, creative, and searching for deeper understanding, clarity, or change. Many come to therapy feeling disconnected — from themselves, others, or their path — and want to slow down, make sense of their experience, and find new ways of being.

My Background and Approach

Before becoming a therapist, I worked in the arts and later in forensic mitigation, supporting people facing capital charges. These experiences deepened my interest in resilience, meaning-making, and the emotional patterns we carry. I earned my BA at NYU Tisch, my master’s in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine, and trained at The Maple Counseling Center. I now work with children, teens, families, and adults in both agency and private practice settings. My approach is grounded in psychodynamic psychotherapy and informed by object relations, attachment theory, somatic awareness, and affective neuroscience. I focus on what emerges in the moment — in the body, in language, and in the relationship — as a way to bring unconscious patterns into view. My approach is centered on creating space for reflection, insight, and change — a process that supports deeper contact with oneself and others. I believe therapy invites curiosity, and the possibility for transformation.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe therapy works best when it’s a space of genuine contact — where your full experience can be held without judgment or pressure to perform. I don’t see therapy as a place for quick fixes or rigid solutions, but as an ongoing process of making meaning, becoming more conscious, and tolerating complexity. I’m drawn to the idea that the patterns we struggle with often made sense at one time, and that insight and change begin when we approach these parts of ourselves with curiosity rather than critique. I believe in the healing power of relationship — not just the ones outside the room, but the one we build together in therapy.
