About My Clients
I work with people navigating trauma, dissociation, and complex PTSD, as well as anxiety, depression, grief, and life transitions. Many clients are artists and entertainment professionals navigating a creative career, but I welcome anyone, adults and children, ready to do real, honest work. You might come to me carrying something hard to name, or simply feeling stuck. Wherever you're starting from, I want you to feel met with warmth, not judgment, from our first session on.
My Background and Approach
I'm a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT #156914) with 14+ years of experience across meditation, yoga, community-based, and private practice settings. Before becoming a therapist, I spent 20 years as a creative producer in entertainment, which shapes how I understand the particular stresses of a creative life. My approach is holistic and humanistic. I believe we all carry an innate healing power within us, and that a therapist is only as helpful as they are self-aware and evolved themselves. I draw on EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP), Exposure Response Prevention (ERP), and expressive art and play therapy, along with attachment-based and family systems work, tailoring the mix to what each client actually needs. Above all, I aim to create a warm, compassionate space of acceptance, one where growth can happen because you finally feel safe enough to let it.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My work is grounded in a holistic, humanistic, and mindfulness- and spiritually-oriented tradition. I've spent over 14 years practicing meditation and yoga across community and private settings, and I bring that same grounded, present-moment awareness into the therapy room, often incorporating meditation, art, and play into sessions. Before becoming a therapist, I spent 20 years as a creative producer in entertainment. That background stays close to my heart, and I get a lot of satisfaction working with artists and others in the industry who are navigating the particular pressures of a creative life. At the core of how I practice is a simple belief: we all carry an innate healing power within us, and building a safe, caring relationship with a therapist is one of the most powerful ways to access it. I try to embody that in how I show up, believing a therapist is only as helpful as they are self-aware and evolved themselves.
