About My Clients

I specialize in helping individuals heal from trauma and overcome addiction. My approach is compassionate and collaborative, grounded in the belief that our past experiences deeply influence how we think, feel, and connect with others. Together, we’ll work toward restoring balance, cultivating self-understanding, and fostering a sense of peace in both body and mind. Whether you’re seeking relief, clarity, or a renewed sense of purpose, my goal is to support you in finding fulfillment.

My Background and Approach

My journey began in the shadow of violence, yet through somatic work, guided visualization, and voice expression, I learned to heal and reclaim my sense of safety. Today, as a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC), I am passionate about helping others do the same by navigating life’s challenges with resilience, authenticity, and self-acceptance. With national credentials from the NASW and the International Trauma Institute, I specialize in affirming care for LGBTQIA2S+ individuals, particularly those exploring identity and self-worth. My therapeutic approach integrates evidence-based trauma practices that nurture regulation of both mind and body, creating space for deep and sustainable healing. Through empathy, safety, and genuine connection, I support clients in rediscovering their authentic selves, embracing their stories, and building lives rooted in balance, courage, and wholeness.

Why I am a Good Fit for You

I believe many of us are shaped by circumstances such as poverty, health and income inequities, food insecurity, racism, and the many forms of bias and fear that still exist. My approach to therapy is rooted in a humanistic lens that guides every aspect of my practice. I hold the belief that people are inherently good and want to do well, yet often lack the support, skills, or resources to thrive. My work is grounded in the understanding that human connection is one of the most powerful forces for healing. I bring together clinical expertise and genuine empathy, meeting clients exactly where they are and building a therapeutic relationship based on trust and authenticity. Through this connection, meaningful growth, self-discovery, and lasting change become possible.
