About My Clients
Welcome! If you feel your mental well-being is deeply tied to your body and history, you’re in the right place. Whether you are navigating life's daily stresses or the lasting impacts of trauma, we work together to soothe your nervous system and build healthier relationships. My clients value an integrative, evidence-based nutritional psychiatry approach over "polypharmacy" (multiple medications). Let’s heal holistically and build a fulfilling life you love.
My Background and Approach
With over twenty years of nursing experience and a unique background as an Episcopal priest, I provide a deeply holistic, clinical partnership. My approach blends rich spiritual insight with a diverse range of evidence-based complementary health protocols, offering a dedicated space for those seeking to heal without relying on a complex "polypharmacy" regimen of medications. From our very first session, we will target anxiety, depression, focus, and sleep using a specialized toolkit. My treatment framework integrates Motivational Interviewing, Somatic Sensing, and Nutritional Psychiatry—with a specific, evidence-based emphasis on the gut-brain connection. Together, we will look beyond symptoms to identify root causes, particularly when navigating the lasting impacts of emotional trauma. By bridging traditional medicine with natural therapies, we will cultivate the mind-body-spirit connection to help you achieve lasting balance and resilience.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that true mental wellness is not merely the absence of distress, but a deep, vibrant returning to our original, unbroken nature. My practice is built upon the concept of Restorative Roots Integrative Psychiatry—a philosophy that honors the complex, interconnected ecosystem of the human experience. Too often, modern psychiatry acts as a pruner, clipping away the symptomatic leaves of anxiety, trauma, or depression while ignoring the soil. I believe we must dig deeper. Healing requires us to nourish the biological, psychological, and spiritual roots that ground us. By blending modern, evidence-based neuroscience and precise psychopharmacology with time-honored holistic therapies—including clinical aromatherapy to soothe and regulate the nervous system—mindfulness, and somatic practices, we create a unified path forward. Healing is not a passive process of being "fixed"; it is an active, collaborative reclamation. Every individual possesses an innate capacity for resilience.
