About My Clients
My clients often struggle with anxiety, overwhelming emotions, negative thoughts, or behaviors that feel difficult to understand or control. These challenges may show up at home, school, or with family and peers. Adults may feel stuck in patterns of worry, stress, or difficult emotions. Understanding what is happening, why it's happening, and what to do about it can make a real difference. My goal is to help you make sense of these challenges and develop practical strategies for everyday life.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with more than 20 years of experience helping children, teens, young adults, and families navigate emotional and behavioral challenges. Much of my career has been spent working with children and adolescents in school and community settings. My approach is trauma-informed, practical, and down-to-earth. I use mindfulness, emotional regulation, grounding, CBT, and other evidence-based strategies to help clients recognize triggers, understand patterns, and develop healthier ways of responding. I believe therapy should be collaborative and understandable—not overly clinical. Together, we'll figure out what is happening, why it's happening, and what tools can help.
