About My Clients
I have a passion to help all, but especially those struggling with behavioral issues and trauma. I understands the importance of getting ahead of behavioral issues in children and adolescents before they face legal consequences. I understand the importance of counseling following trauma. I could go on and on about the research backing the need for counseling in trauma. Behavioral issues are often rooted with some sort of trauma.
My Background and Approach
My passion for mental health started in a duel enrollment intro to psychology class when I was 15. Since then I have gained many experiences and titles through many hours of hard work. I graduated with my high school diploma in 2016, bachelors in 2018, and masters in 2022. I am Nationally Credentialed and an Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor. I recently received my LPC in Tennessee. I have worked with adolescents, abuse victims, adults with severe mental illness, forensic patients, substance use, autism, developmental delay, and crisis intervention. I have worked with so many different populations over the years. I started out in the mental health field in 2018 after graduating with my undergraduate degree in forensic psychology. My first job was as a family advocate for family’s who children had been abused. I went on to work as a mental health clerk and technician at a state prison and as a mental health technician at Children's Hospital.
