About My Clients
I support women and teens navigating grief, trauma, anxiety, life transitions, and self-worth challenges. I specialize in helping those who are “the strong one” finally make space for their own healing. My approach is warm, direct, and collaborative. If you’re ready to feel seen, supported, and empowered to grow, I’d be honored to walk with you. You don’t have to do this alone.
My Background and Approach
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with over 15 years of experience supporting women, teens, and young adults through life’s most challenging seasons. I hold a Ph.D. and am a Certified Grief Educator trained by David Kessler, with advanced training in CBT, REBT, and trauma-informed care. I specialize in grief, anxiety, trauma, life transitions, and chronic conditions like PCOS. My background as a therapist and educator allows me to blend clinical insight with real-life tools that help clients feel grounded, seen, and empowered. I work best with those who are ready to explore patterns, unpack pain, and move toward healing, even if they’re unsure where to start. My style is warm, affirming, and direct. I believe in therapy that’s collaborative and honest, a space where you can take off the mask and do the work, one step at a time. You don’t have to do it alone, and healing doesn’t mean being perfect, it means being real.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a proud Cuban-American woman, I understand the importance of cultural identity, resilience, and navigating spaces where you may not always feel fully seen. I’m deeply committed to mental health access, social equity, and creating therapy spaces that are inclusive, compassionate, and client-centered. I advocate for foster youth, grief literacy, and support underserved communities through both my clinical work and volunteer efforts. As a Certified Grief Educator trained by David Kessler, I help clients process all types of loss from death to life transitions. I also serve as a mentor and educator, training the next generation of social workers through clinical supervision and leadership development. My practice is welcoming to neurodivergent clients and those living with chronic conditions like PCOS. I believe in honoring both your story and your strength.
