We provide the necessity of support to those who are neglected, underserved, and in need of psychosocial healing. By working to eliminate psychosocial barriers and support healing, we eagerly strive toward timely intervention for both the individual and family. We help individuals and families of all ethnicities and background to achieve mental stability and awareness of self.
My Background and Approach
Love Thyself is a Social Service Organization, established with the sole focus of empowering those in need. The Organization was founded in 2010 by a Social Worker from a hospital in Los Angeles with 15 years of continuance service. The focused treatment/intervention approaches are CBT, MI, DBT, SFBT, Coaching Distress Trauma, Strength Base. LTS provides assistance in Mental Health, Domestic Violence, Drug & Alcohol, Homelessness, HIV, Sex Trafficking, Grief & Loss, Divorce, Depression, PTSD, Biblical Counseling, Trauma, Ex-Offenders, Anger Management and Veterans. Additionally, Psychotherapy Services for Individual, Group, Family, Adult, and Adolescents. Passionate about helping others we, at Love Thy Self are committed to those we serve.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
A pillar of her community, Kesia is deeply passionate about empowering those in need and has contributed her time and talents by serving as an active participant in many social service organizations, a few of her past endeavors include; serving as a monthly speaker at the Los Angeles Mission on Skid Row and contributing as the Founder of the Women of Confidence Support Group. After having personally navigated her own trials and tribulations. She discovered the power of her voice and decided to use her heart for healing and advocacy to help others as they navigate their own mental health journey. Wanting to better educate herself, Kesia went on to receive her Bachelor’s of Science in Criminal Justice with a Minor in Corrections. She later obtained her Master’s in Social Work with a focus in Children, Youth, and Family with a minor in Mental Health. She is now a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Social Worker. Kesia brings with her over 13+ years of experience in the Mental Health field.
