About My Clients
Do you struggle with your mental health, and wonder if you will ever feel better. Have you suffered from symptoms of depression, anxiety, trauma, etc. and feel as though things will never change. Seeking therapy and learning new ways of coping can help you work through the difficult symptoms that you are dealing with. My Background and Approach
I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, an integrative approach, and Evidenced Based Practices such as Parent Child Interaction Therapy, Trauma Focused CBT, Seeking Safety, etc. I have experience working with toddlers, children, adolescents, teens, young adults, and adults. I have worked with clients who have presented with different symptoms and behaviors from the following: disruptive behaviors, trauma, grief, anxiety, depression, Bipolar Disorder, suicidal ideations/attempts, self-harm, postpartum depression/anxiety, stress, substance use, parenting, and anger management.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe working on changing the negative thinking patterns can help one decrease negative emotions and behaviors that occur. I also believe that if a person is willing to put in the work they will begin to see the change and progress that they can make in their lives. I cannot put more work into the treatment than my clients, and I believe that challenging them at the appropriate times and encouraging them to utilize skills they have learned will continue to aid them in making the progress they want to see. I do my best to create a non-judgmental and open environment for my clients to feel comfortable when they see me in treatment.
