Anxiety is just excitement without support... In therapy, you will receive the support through explorative reflections to gain awareness and insight to the root of anxiety, as well as tools to manage + control the emotional, behavioral, and physical symptoms. Mindfulness, visualization, vagal toning, narrative rewriting, and expressive arts are some of many tools we can integrate into your therapy to help ground your mind and body, release dense energy, and carve new neural pathways.

Whether you're settled into beliefs + practices or are just now exploring, I believe your spiritual connections are powerful medicines for mental + emotional wellbeing. Integrating these strengths + tools are essential to the soul. "Psyche" = soul, so I believe psychology is inherently spiritual! I have a specialty in esoteric spirituality, folk magick, earth magick, Western astrology + the tarot for 30+ years, however, I hold space for ALL spirituality!

Many of our unconscious behaviors, reactions, and automatic thoughts + feelings can be connected to various parts of us that were "born" to resolve and manage situations and relationships that were difficult... They work for a while, until they don't. So, getting to know, befriend, and accept your parts, from the "exiles" to "firefighters," can create a cohesive, collaborative internal environment (your inner "family system") that will lead to living with more ease, peace, and joy.

My scholastic specialization and clinical training was centered around Depth psychology and Jungian psychology. By "time traveling" through your life experiences in a contained, safe environment, you can gain insights around patterns and reactions that you no longer to prefer to engage in or live with. By exploring these partially and fully unconscious spaces, including the Shadow, you can change automatic reactions to mindful responses, aligning your behaviors, thoughts, and emotions.

Humans are wired to connect. Relationships shape you, help you grow, but can be the crux of emotional pain. Whether your relationship issues are connected to your family of origin, chosen family/friendships, intimate partner(s), and/or work, there is ALWAYS room for repair! We can do this together in individual and/or couples by exploring core beliefs, emotions, attachment styles, needs + boundaries. You will gain insights and learn/practice tools and exercises to build relational competency.

Our bodies are maps that store memories and emotional energy. When we have not closed a cycle of trauma or even non-traumatized emotional pain, it is stored by way of chronic pain or undesirable sensations as a non-verbal language. By using mindfulness + somatic work, you can release stored trauma, dissolve blockages, and transmute emotional and physical pain into healing, liberating your mind and body. I'm certified in Somatic Parts Work (IFS+Somatics) & using the chakras w/ polyvagal theory.
